Stelios Alexakis

Stelios Alexakis was born December 4th, 1973, in Kournas village of Chania, Crete. He studied History and Archeology in the Philosophical School of Athens from 1991 to 1995 and he continued in post-graduate studies in History of Art. From 2000 to 2005 he studied painting and mosaic at the School of Fine Arts in Athens at the side of Yiannis Valavanidis. From I996 to 2008 he worked as a curator in the Kouvoutsakis Art Institute.

He has taken part in 54 group exhibitions in Greece, United Kingdom, Germany, United States of America, Russia, Romania, Italy, Turkey and Japan. He had organized 7 personals shows:
