Despina Pilati grew up and lives in Greece. She studied Business Administration at the University of Piraeus and photography at Photography Circle with Platon Rivellis.
She is involved with photography since 2003 as a member of the Photography Circle since 2005. She has participatedin exhibitions in Greece and abroad.
Her photographs have appeared in print and in electronic media, as well as on the covers of poetry and literary books. She has collaborated with artists from the theatre and music scene for shooting programmes, album covers etc.
In 2013, her album Despoina Pilati: Photographs was published by Kichli Publications.
