Maria Chryssochoidou was born in Athens in 1981. She studied painting at ASFA from 2001 to 2006. She attended courses at the Fine Arts of the French Institute in Thessaloniki, as well as at the Academia de Belas Artes in Lisbon. In 2003 she received a special distinction at the Meeting and Competition of Young Artists with the title: «Fresco and Salty» in Amfilochia, Greece. She has taken part in a number of group exhibitions and workshops in Greece. In March 2013, she made her first solo exhibition at “Gallery 7”, with the title “Loud Thoughts”.
